I use this can crusher daily, and it serves its ourpose. Being a manual product, it does a great job for my recycling. I would recommend it, a cheap item, yet handy!

I bought two different can crushers before finally buying this one. It is the best constructed crusher that I have found and it is the most solid.

This product works great! Heavy duty crusher but the shipping was $10 - which I think is a little much...Use for 16oz cans & smaller..

With all the bad reviews I still tried it anyhow because of the price. I was impressed with the steel of it. Note, this is not a commerical crusher. But for everyday house hold use it's fine. If you take your time and crush the cans they will stay in place. But if you are a little weak and try to do it fast,then yes the cans will try to slide out. The only problem would be its takes a little more effort in crushing thicker cans but thats a given. As far as the height of the can after its crushes, it does fine. I've never seen one that will flaten one completey flat anyhow. The end results are a nice size to store for recycle. I think you'll like this product. For the price you can't go wrong.
